The first funded phase of IBR (the basic bridge structure itself) has been authorized for construction and remaining phases are currently unfunded. As such, there are currently very limited opportunities for advocacy at the moment. For this reason the formal Just Crossing Alliance coalition is taking a pause from organized activity for the moment.
Subsets of Alliance member organizations continue to work on vital issues including the detailed design of transit and active transportation facilities and mitigating the impact of traffic diversion from the planned imbalanced tolling regime (tolling the I-5 crossing but not the I-205 crossing).
